Walking through the forest, Twilight and Eclipse talk to each other. During their talk, Twilight tells Eclipse about herself, and how she has no emotions.

"So, you're saying that you're incapable of having emotions? That's so cool!" Eclipse said.

"How come?"

"Well, you can't be scared, or sad, no matter what. Emotions like that cause equines like us to make bad decisions."

Twilight looked at her, realizing that Eclipse was talking from her own experience. She saw pain and sadness in her eyes.

"What happened to you? She asked.

"Hm?"

"You're speaking from your own experience right? What happened to you?"

Eclipse sighed. She didn't like talking about this much.

"Fine. I'll tell you"

Screams. Everyone is screaming. A young Eclipse looks around. There are equines in trouble. Some are already gone. Some are injured.
Eclipse thinks.Where is mom? That's a good question. Where is she? Where is Midnight Shadow. Eclipse is scared and alone.
Midnight Shadow's room
Watching from her room, Midnight Shadow can see everything. She looks at all the suffering. All the damage and destruction. Then she remembers something. Her daughter. Eclipse. Where is she?

"Eclipse!" She calls out. No answer. Midnight Shadow's heart goes faster. Where is her daughter? She looks outside. The raid stopped. She runs outside, looking for her. She looks around, but Eclipse is nowhere to be found. As it turns out, Eclipse ran away during the raid. She was scared. She didn't know what to do. Midnight Shadow thought of something else. She thought that they took her. Who's they? Princess Celestia. Princess Luna.

They took her She thought. Midnight Shadow went back inside, filled with anger and sadness. Her only daughter was gone. She didn't know what to do anymore. So, she did what she thought she should do. Attack.

Now

"So that's what happened. I ran away. When I tried to come back, I couldn't find my way.'

"What happened after that?"

"I found an abandoned cabin. The one that you found, that was it. I stayed there for a long time until now."

They walked in silence for a while. Twilight thought about Eclipse's story. That must have been very sad for such a young girl.

"We should rest here" she said. They were now near a cave, a good place to stay for the night. Eclipse agreed and they both went in. With her magic, Twilight made a light so that they could see. There were animals everywhere. Squirrels, rabbits, mice, etc. They were everywhere.

"Well this is...surprising" Eclipse said. Twilight,with her magic, picked up all the animals but suddenly heard someone yell.

"Put them down!"

They turned to see a girl with pink hair and pegasus wings. She had three pink butterflies on her shoulder, and was wearing a teal dress. She was covered with mud and dirt.

"Who are you?!"
