Over 10 years ago, my Dad came home from work and asked us if we wanted a dog.
A client he delivered fuel to, could no longer look after it and was looking for someone to take care of it. We all discussed it, trying to figure out if we were capable of giving a dog the attention it needed. We weren't sure at first, but then we went to meet the dog. As soon as we looked into its differently coloured eyes, we knew he was meant to be a part of our family.
