In the city of Canterlot we see a 20 year old man doing some practice in the training room of the Canterlot Police Station. He was Shining Armor. He had white skin and blue hair. He been practicing for a few hours til someone came to him with an upset look on his face. This was the chief of the police station. His named was Chief Chase.

"Hey Shining. Could I speak with you in my office?" Chase said.

"Yes Chief." Shining said as he followed him there.

We cut to see both of them in the office of the chief. He still had a upset look on his face. Shining wanted to know why.

"Chief. What was it that you wanted to talk to me?" Shining said.

Chase sighed. "Shining. I don't know how to explain this to you but I have terrible news. Your wife Cadence and sister Twilight have passed away."

Shining gasped and started to cry. "What? They passed away?"

"Yes. I got a report from Officer Sentry. He told me that he found the bodies of them by a lake where they were killed. Were trying to track down the murderer now. But I don't think you can find him in this state." Chase said.

"But chief I want to help you. I want to avenge my wife and sister!" Shining cried.

"Calm down Shining. Your not in good condition to stop him. The other officers wanted to tell you about the news but didn't know how you react. Thought it be best if you heard it from me." Chase said.

Shining was now crying since his wife and sister were no longer here. They were killed in cold blood.

"Hey bud. How bout I give you some time off? Say 4 months? You'll need all the time to heal your heart before you can come back here okay?" Chase said.

"Ok chief. Thank you." Shining said crying as he left.

"You're welcome. I'll keep you updated on the murderer when we catch him." Chase said.

Back home in the Sparkle house Shining told his parents the devastating news. They were really upset and they attended their funeral. Everyone was sad that Twilight and Cadence were no longer here with them. The toughest thing about that day for Shining was that he really loved his sister since they were little. They did everything together and were best friends. But now that she's gone that felt like a stab in the heart. After the funeral the Sparkles told Shining that their going out to clear their heads from the upsetting moment and left him alone to try and calm down. Then he heard a knock on the door and he got up and answered it. It relieved to be a girl with cream colored skin, glasses, red hair with a purple stripe and brushed nicely. This was Twilight's old friend Moondancer.

"Hi. Shining Armor right?" Moondancer said.

"Yes that's me. How you been Moondancer?" Shining said sadly.

"To be honest im a little upset that my friend passed away. May I come in?" Moondancer said.

"Sure. Come on in." Shining said as he let Moondancer in. He closed the door and sat down in the chair and Moondancer sat on the couch.

"So the news upset you that bad huh?" Moondancer said.

"Yes. She was everything that a big brother could wanted. And for her to be killed along with my wife feels like a stab in the heart!" Shining said crying. Moondancer saw that and tried to calm him down.

"Hey hey. Calm down. Listen you weren't the only one. She was my best friend in school and for her life to be taken away feels like a stone crushed my heart." Moondancer said.

"I totally understand that. You girls were like two peas in a pod." Shining said.

"Do you miss her? And your wife?" Moondancer said.

"Yes I do. But I can't bring them back. Now I don't know what to do. I feel like im all alone now." Shining said as Moondancer placed her hand on Shining's.

"Not with me you won't feel alone. In fact you wanna spend the day with me?" Moondancer said.

"Sure. At least that will clear my head." Shining said as they headed out.

The two spent the whole day trying to cheer each other up. They first started out at Sugarcube Corner sharing a banana split loving the taste. Then they were at a aquarium seeing the many kinds of fish there was. The third thing they did was walk around the park. But as they were doing this Shining was some brothers and sisters playing together and that brought a sad look on his face. Moondancer saw that and reminded him to try and not think about the sad news. But she understands that he misses Twilight. Then finally at night we see the both of them looking at the stars under the night sky. Shining cuddled Moondancer as she blushed but returned it. Then when the day was over Shining thanked Moondancer for everything and she gave him a kiss on the cheek and left to return home. Shining went inside and smiled. He was thinking that maybe this was the beginning of something romantic. Who knows? Maybe it is.

3 months passed since the devastating news. But for Shining he was feeling a lot better. In fact in those three months he hanged out with Moondancer a lot and something wonderful happened. They were officially together!! It happened one night at a restaurant and after they got done with dinner Moondancer confessed that she had feelings for Shining Armor and he did too. After that they shared their first kiss and been dating since. He even got more good news from the Chief Chase saying that the guy that killed his sister and his wife was caught and brought to justice. We cut to the present to see Shining making his way to Moondancer's house for a surprise she planned for him. He opened the door and closed it behind him then started looking for her.

"Moony! Im here!" Shining said but no answer. "Moony?"

He looked all around the house trying to find her. He looked in the living room, the kitchen, the dining room, the garage, and her study room. But no matter what he couldn't find her. Then he tried looking in the bedroom. He went to the bedroom door and knocked on it.

"Moony? Are you in there?" Shining said.

"Yes Shiny. You can come in." Moondancer said.
