“CELESTIA!!!” A loud voice bellowed from the main throne room causing the castle to tremble a bit.

Slowly walking in, Celestia noticed an angry and panting Luna while Celestias nephew was between his mothers legs.

“Enough is enough! I will not tolerate this anymore! You care not for me or my son!” Luna shouted at her older sister, Lunas son whimpering quietly.

“I told you before Luna, it’s just rough housing. You can’t seriously expect me to punish everyone who roughs him up a bit can you..?” Celestia said with an annoyed look on her face which irritated Luna more.

“A little roughed up!? Tia!! His wings were broken and nearly lost an eye! My son is not like all those noble colts! He is kind, respectful, honest and more generous than most foals! You cannot believe that…” Luna started to say, almost sounding like a completely overprotective mother”

“Enough Luna! Eternal is a big colt. He’s not a small colt anymore.. besides he’s barely said anything to me about it. I can’t help if he won’t talk.” Celestia said, completely ignoring what Luna said.

“It’s always about him… nothing but him… I can’t blame for being anti social since his father left but this is no excuse..” Celestia thought in her mind, not really caring about the situation at hoof.

“I have paper work to fill out… we’ll talk later…” Celestia said, turning away before walking back to her room.

Luna watched as her sister quickly turned her back on her and her nephew. “Don’t worry Dusk… I’m here for you…”
Luna said, unaware of tomorrow…

The Day After The Talk With Celestia

“Princess we’ve looked everywhere but there has been no sign of Prince Dusk…” Luna could barely breathe, Dusk was missing and to make matters worse is that he never made it to school.

“Dusk teacher informed us that he’s never done this and this is a first for them as well. One thing we do know is that his classmates barely hid smiling after hearing his disappearance. But without any evidence we cannot arrest them nor interrogate them” The guard finally concluded, Luna being nearly unusable as her and only son was missing, no pony knew where he had gone too and it was making her absolutely insane with guilt and desperation.

“Find. My. Son…” Luna said through gritted teeth, barely able to hold back any reason to hunt the colts down and interrogate them herself.
“Does my sister know…?”

“Yes… she replied with… it’s simply a act of defiance… he’ll turn up later…”
The guard said before heading over to a nearby group of guards, laughing as they completely ignore the stressed out Princess of the Moon.

“He better be alright….” Luna said, her mind racing as a voice called to her.

“They don’t care… they despise you and your son… even your sister…” The voice said but luna just ignored it, knowing it wasn’t true.

Three Days Had Passed

Luna felt her heart stop as a doctor had been at her door, telling her terrible news.

“Princess…? I know this is hard to believe but I’ve checked every thing over three times…. But Prince Dusk was covered in bruises and his legs were broken…. In multiple places and the internal bleeding…. I’m sorry to say Princess but…. Dusk is dead…” The doctor said, Luna nearly in tears as her world was destroyed. Her son was dead, and no one really cared.

Luna had slammed the door in the doctors face before grabbing a pile of notes and letters that were meant for dusk. Opening one up she read, “Freak! Your father didn’t even want you! Everypony here wishes you keel over and expire!
Unable to continue reading Lu a looked at another letter, “Parasite! You don’t belong in this kingdom, nor the tittle of prince! Your mom is a whore that sleeps with common ponies!
Luna grew outraged at the insults and the fact that Dusk was swamped by these letters, it made much more sense on why Dusk would barely talk about it but Luna shrugged her head before looking at a note before gasping, “Next time your at school we’ll make sure to take a eye! Just like your tounge!”
Luna began to violently throw up onto the floor, her mind unable to comprehend being tortured like that. Luna then went to the throne room, hoping to catch a few conversations.

“Dusk is still missing your highness!”

“Luna is acting very suspicious when it comes to Prince Dusk…”

“Is luna even needed…?”

“Enough! I tire of this… Luna may be a bit strange but she’s not wrong in her search for Dusk. Luna sometimes complicates situations but is still wanted… Dusk will easily find his way home..”

Celestia said to the nobles as Luna overheard them, Luna nearly lost her mind as her sister shrugged off the search for her nephew.

Luna walked onto the throne balcony, screaming in rage as the desk broke. “No more…” Luna said quietly as a dark mist form around her.

Celestia walked in, seeing a tall dark mare, laughing madly as the stranger looked at her.

“You and your ponies have ignored us for the last TIME! I will bring your subjects to their knees while they pay for their arrogance!” The stranger said, laughing again with a psychotic laughter.

“Who are you!?!?” Celestia demanded as she got in a stance, reading the elements.

“Why I’m…. I.. am a Nightmare! Nightmare Moon!” Nightmare said before looking at celestia with a look of pure evil as the elements powered up.

“You dare to attack before I-“ Nightmare Moon never finished as she was blasted by the Elements of Harmony and banished to the moon.

“Once upon a time.. There was faraway land called Equestria….”
