Blackdrag-rose

Perfection? I don't want that, because that would mean stopping, standing still, instead of improving.

Sombra was defeated, his body shattered, but his soul persisted and found a path to a new world, at the same time as Fluttershy and Radiant Hope, causing them to arrive in a brand new world. They must join Sora, Donald, and Goofy in their quest to find their missing friends, and their fight to save the worlds from the Heartless, while unaware of the true evil that's lurking in the darkness.

And so starts a new story.

Well, here it is.

And the mere mentioned of this " true evil", is it the Organization 13 as usual? Or even the Demon Empire?

Onto another adventure.

Nice start, but how will it continue?

It begins with Sombra becoming Umbra (R63 Sombra) and the dawn of a new Dark Seeker (maybe). In the coming days we shall see who is better with darkness, Sombra/Umbra or Old Man Xehanort.

And so begins the author's struggle through one of the most convoluted series out there.

Wait, really!?

The author didn't say anything beforehand in the blogs, about changing Sombra's gender and why?

11731464 I didn't say anything beforehand because the idea came to me while I was writing this chapter. As for 'how' this happened, that will be explained in the next chapter.

I'm assuming it has to do with how he was possessing Fluttershy at the time he was sent through, and as such the World assumed he was also female? Either that or Fluttershy's heart is sleeping within his own in a manner similar to Ventus & Sora, and his body changed as a result.

11731758 You hit the nail on the head. In all honesty, I never considered the latter idea.

Hahahahahahaha I should feel sorry for Sombra but nah.

Well, this was certainly interesting.

11732560 Hopefully it is a 'good' sort of interesting.

Sombra is in for one wild ride.

...I have concerns regarding Sombra's absorbing hearts to gain power. Just to check, you ARE aware that if this causes the hearts to be absorbed in their entirety until nothing remains, him doing so means the people those hearts belonged to won't ever have a chance of being recompleted, yes?

I can’t wait till he gets to deal with the other faction. I do think that by the end he will need to give up everything he has taken. Then again I do see him almost becoming one of the 13.

Sombra will be a anti her or a good sided villain?
I am hyped ♡:rainbowdetermined2:

You do know that pureblood heartless like Shadows are nothing but pure darkness and possess no captured hearts, right? Only the emblem heartless have the hearts. The practice session would have made more sense if she were fighting Soldiers. Unless it's not hearts that she's capturing but something else that all types of heartless possess.

I can see this power becoming a real thorn in the side of the KH2 Org XIII. Sombra may end up having a duel or 2 with Marluxia in the future since they are both scythe wielders. Xemnas may also end up getting personally involved in getting rid of Sombra before Sora ever gets a shot at him.

11733850 I'm going to be honest, I could have sworn that I saw a shadow Heartless release a heart once... however, that was back in KH2, during the big battle scene, so an emblem Heartless must have gotten in the way and I made a mistake. I'll just have to go back in and switch the shadows out for one of the emblem Heartless.

11733741 I am aware of that fact, yes.

11733875
Shadows may have given hearts back in KH1 but Nomura probably decided to change the rules a little in later installments. This concept was brought up in 358/2 Days and stuck since.

Edit: After a bit more research, it seems that the difference between a pureblood and an emblem is that the emblems capture hearts and corrupt other hearts while the purebloods are hearts that surrender themselves to the darkness within them. Hearts freed from emblems seek out other hearts to connect with (hence the artificial Kingdom Hearts in TWTNW) Purebloods simply return to the realm of darkness when defeated.

11733915 I understand. As such I've modified Sombra's training a little to show her fighting both the shadows and an emblem Heartless, to show her that pureblood Heartless don't release hearts while emblem ones do.

This will certainly be interesting. The fact he/she has a 'storage area' for hearts inside them probably means they can release hearts as well. Whether that is specific hearts or all at once, who knows.
