Base story idea suggested by gapty in the Bean's Writing Group discord. This was originally intended to be a last minute entry the Whodunnit? Youdunnit! Contest!, but stuff happened.

Upon Rarity's return, she finds her partner, Thunderlane, has been unfaithful. Seeking comfort, she turns to Spike. Spike, in return, decides to let his draconic instincts take over and "remove" the source of her heartbreak permanently. After all, being raised by ponies has taught him one significant thing. Friendship is everything!

One year ago, the immortal moon lich died.

One year ago, Twilight Sparkle the so-called human moved to Ponyville.

Rarity never believed that, of course. The "human" bit. After all, no human would willingly choose to live in a town of monsters, and no amount of magic or hunting orders or Plans with a capital "P" would ever change her mind on that—especially when said human was so constantly collected and calm.

But... if she wasn't human, what kind of monster could she be?

A few weeks after returning from their last Unity Quest in London, the ponies have been preparing for the Nightmare Night party in Zephyr Heights, but when the big night finally arrives, they are summoned away to the mortal world on Halloween night.

The Amazing Krudsky, a failed carnival magician, steals the light magic from Fairy Princess Willow, it's up to the Mane 6, Shaggy and Scooby to stop him, or else the world will be turned into Halloween monsters! Our heroes board the Grim Reaper Railroad into a fantastical Halloween realm where they encounter real monsters, flying brooms and magic fairies, all in a quest to reach the Goblin King's castle to retrieve the Goblin Scepter, with help from their new friends.

Get ready for the ride of your afterlives as you stay tuned for this monstrous, music-filled Halloween adventure!

Inspired by Fluttershy's animal sanctuary, Discord helps start a sanctuary to house Equestria's more monstrous denizens. But when Fluttershy stumbles upon a murdered security guard on the grounds, the monster hunters of Equestria are eager to blame the Lord of Chaos. With no experience whatsoever, Fluttershy sets out to prove her friend's innocence.
