Remake of Defect

After all of the time she has devoted to this project, all of those sleepless nights to ensure that everything was perfect, tonight was finally the night. The night this was all leading up to. The night that Twilight Sparkle's greatest creation rose, and returned what the scientist once lost.

It just had to work. Everything was right. However... something went wrong, and now, with shattered remains condemning her one and only desire, there was nothing she could do to fix it. Not anymore.

Cozy Glow has finally reached her lifelong goal! Becoming the endearing, ever commanding, Empress of Friendship! Unfortunately, there are a lot more travesties and setbacks to her victory than she thought. The world she claimed was not the happy takeover she once planned. The world she forged was not the joyful, toy box she had seeked out to play with. The world she tainted was not the powerful empire she once sought after.

She may need a little help to correct her mistakes - nay - the tragedy that befell the planet. Thankfully, she does not have to pay a hefty price to do so...as long as she can resurrect the peace she destroyed, and throughout the land once again. A shattered mirror just needs its pieces glued back together for its reflection to be fixed, correct?!

Seems easier said than done.

What if.... instead if the cookie zombies prank wasn't a prank set up by Pinkie Pie and friends to get back at Rainbow Dash but instead the Ponyville inhabitants actually became cookie zombies and terrorized the town?

Misty has more or less settled into life in Maretime Bay with her new friends, she's even changed her mane style to reflect her new outlook on life. Things are looking up for her.

That is, until Misty begins to wonder about her past, about who she was before she was taken in by Opaline. It's a mystery that won't leave her alone no matter what.

Thus, the unicorn decides to do some research in Bridlewood, hoping to find out where she came from and who she used to be. Zipp and Izzy go with her to help, and together the friends will uncover something that will change Misty's life forever!

You’ve heard stories of people getting into accidents. There are many factors that cause them, and one of them is sleep deprivation. You think you can keep yourself awake long enough, but your luck will run out soon enough, and you end up hurting others because of it.

This is the story of my personal experience with such a situation.

A little spin on the events that happened about a week before this story was published.

Chrysalis, the queen of the changelings was defeated twice, the first time at the wedding of Cadance and Shining Armor and the second time in her own kingdom, suffering a historic defeat. All because of Starlight Glimmer.

Now we have to wait for the great word that all villains like to see: Revenge. Or is not it?

So, now the Main 7 team up with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit, and Eeyore to save Christopher Robin from a legendary monster. At least, that’s what they were told.

The crusaders try to prank call Diamond Tiara & Miss Cheerilee, but as always, they somehow manage to mess it up. The real question is: How badly did they mess up this time?

It's the end of physical life for Shining Armor as his time nears those he loved come together and tell him just how much he meant to them. he finds out that even at death he's still useful and that even after death he'll still be loved and appreciated.

Opaline Arcana grew up in Skyros orphanage. But she seems to have something that makes others stay away from her.
A problem that causes Opaline to not be herself and become a pony that she shouldn't be.

While taking in the lush serenity of the forest, Fluttershy spots an animal out in a small clearing. Being the animal expert that she is, Fluttershy realized something was tranquil about the scene and decided to join the creature.

Okay, so I conquered Equestria, imprisoned the Mane Six and princesses in Tartarus, and ascended to become the new Empress of Friendship, right? Well, that was about eight months ago... Well, six months ago, I found the gem that changed my life... It is purple and has six sides, and about five or six hoof-fulls, I'd say? It's called the Guardian Amethyst and it called to me. I'm still not sure, I understand it, but I somehow just felt like I should go into that cave... That's where I found it on the stone floor... I don't know how long I stared at it, but eventually, it began to glow and spark... I don't know what it was in my mind, but I just somehow felt better and accepted just then?

I now understand that when I left that cave, I left a changed pony... And it wasn't just the new horn on my head or the fact that I now had magick for the first time in my life, but there was something else... I'll admit, being the only pony with magick in Equestria was a lot like being in Tartarus again! I remembered how the other ponies would stare at me... I couldn't explain it then, but I just felt like I had to get magick back! I had no idea how I was going to do that, though?

Eventually, I discovered that there was another artifact that would let me get into Tartarus... It was called the Staff of Opening, although it disappeared immediately after I used it! I somehow felt like I should go in there though. I needed to understand the other ponies and why they were upset with me and I knew that there was at least one pony who'd have a pretty good idea... I'll admit, Twilight Sparkle's friends were very upset when I told them that I would only take her. After all! I'm still evil! I'm a baddie! A villain! I couldn't just, let them all go, r-right?

Well, two months ago, I gave a kidney transplant to a filly in need... And that's when I realized that I had been changing! I asked Twilight Sparkle, my new assistant about it, and she helped me begin to understand that about myself... I wasn't the same filly... After having a nightmare, I began to realize that I had begun to see Twilight as not just my assistant, but as something else entirely... Something I haven't had since long ago... I saw her as my mother... You know, that was really hard for me to admit to her?

Then, an annoying draconequus showed up and used his power to free the Mane Six and the other princesses, by my command! While I'm not sure if he's really gone or not, I'll admit that made things very convenient to wrap up! But are things ever that convenient?

Celestia was a mortal once. She had dreams and hopes. Like any other mortal being but has long since forgotten what it was like to be a unicorn.

As the generations have passed, she has grown to hate what she is. She has grown to hate the sun who made her immortal. She hated the voice she buried deep down, clawing its way up with dreams of blood-red infernos and fire.

She hates she listening to it.

Sonata has a rough and tragic backstory involving her biological parents, after their quick and sudden passing, she moved in with her non-biological sisters Adagio and Aria. Now, she's having some troubles sleeping at night due to the images she keeps seeing in her mind, problem is, she won't tell anybody what's going on or what she sees because it makes her uncomfortable. Will one of her sisters be able to give her some peace of mind so she's able to sleep soundly?

This story explains the way I view the relationship of The Dazzlings, while I do view them as sisters, I do not view them as biological siblings, rather instead, I view them as three people who have lived together for so long that they just refer to one another as sisters, but they aren't related at all. Hope that makes sense.

This story marks my second year of uploading to Fimfiction, and my first year of realizing how true a passion writing has become for me. It's been a wild and unexpected journey. Since first walking down this path, I have done what few could - or were willing to do - themselves. It was a job few thanked me for, but that was okay. As long as my goal is accomplished, I will continue this path, and nothing will stop me.
