OH! That's a bit of an inside joke. A reference to another author here, who went by the name Loyal. (sadly, he passed away a few years ago)

I worked with him on a few projects, and he offered me an immense amount of knowledge and writing wisdom along the way. So we began calling me the chief apprentice, lol. :)
